It’s the longest sequence of activities that determines the earliest date a project can finish. Management and execution of the critical path permits organizations to complete projects faster. Knowing how to determine the critical path is based on ‘Float’ (Microsoft® Project calls it ‘Slack’). This lunch and learn seminar explains the mechanics for forward and backward pass scheduling; defines the calculations and demonstrates how they are performed. This seminar also explains how to estimate and calculate activity duration based on scope. The critical path is a key fundamental for effective scheduling with Oracle® Primavera P6, Microsoft® Project or other critical path method scheduling tools.
