Planning & Scheduling Basics To Advanced – 2 Day
$1,375.00 per person
This course is a thorough presentation of the principles used in planning and scheduling. Participants receive instruction in effective management of projects, to enable them to remain competitive and successful in today’s economy. The first day is designed as a refresher course for those who do not engage in these practices full-time. For those with little or no background in planning and scheduling, day one serves as an introduction to the basics. The second day moves from schedule development into schedule usage. This session presents intensive training of intermediate and advanced scheduling techniques. Detailed explanations of the differences between status, progress, performance measurements, calculations, and reporting are provided. Participants will also be exposed to cost and time relationships for evaluations of crashing or stretching work plans. A computer presentation of an off-the-shelf project management software system (Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera P6 as the client prefers) highlights this presentation. The seminar concludes with instruction in the use of schedules in a multiple project environment.
Each participant receives a comprehensive workbook prepared by ACM.
ACM offers quantity discounts, please contact ACM for 4 or more attendees.
